In the 20th century, demand for electricity led to the consideration of geothermal power as a generating source. Prince Piero Ginori Conti tested the first geothermal power generator on 4 July 1904 in Larderello , Italy. It successfully lit four light bulbs. [6] Later, in 1911, the world's first commercial geothermal power station was built there. Experimental generators were built in Beppu , Japan and the Geysers , California, in the 1920s, but Italy was the world's only industrial producer of geothermal electricity until 1958.

Power plants use steam produced from geothermal reservoirs to generate electricity. There are three geothermal power plant technologies being used to convert hydrothermal fluids to electricity—dry steam, flash steam and binary cycle. The type of conversion used (selected in development) depends on the state of the fluid (steam or water) and its temperature.

Binary Power Plants . Binary plants, like dry-steam and flash-steam plants, make use of naturally sourced hot steam generated by activity from within the Earth's core. All geothermal plants convert thermal energy to mechanical …

Multiple fission at the cellular level occurs in many protists , . sporozoans and algae . The nucleus of the parent cell divides several times by mitosis , producing several nuclei. The cytoplasm then separates, creating multiple daughter cells. [6] [7] [8]

The exhaust from the turbine passes through a condenser which produces a condensate stream and a noncondensable gas stream (NCG) stream consisting mainly of carbon dioxide, CO2, varying amounts of hydrogen sulfide, H2S, and trace quantities of other gases such as nitrogen. This NCG can vary from 1% to 20% of the inlet stream to the turbine. The condenser can be either a direct contact condenser as illustrated in Figure 1 or a surface condenser as illustrated in Figure 2. In Figure 1, the cooling tower can be replaced with air-cooled exchangers (fin-fans).
